I think its about time for something new to show up in the music section of VT; The Spice Girls.

Yes the Spice Girls. The Queens of Pop (IMO), the heart of 90s children. What do I have to say about them? A WHOLE LOT :D

The SG (Spice Girls obviously) are one of my most favorite bands of all time, and the most successful girl bands of all time. There is not another band like them out there today. And no one can compete to them.

Their music is awesome as hell. Mama, Stop, Goodbye, and Wannabe are my favorite songs by SG.

I grew up with SG and they have a special place in my heart (don't make any jokes out of that. Lol) I think that they are true role models unlike Miley Cyrus. When was the last time you have heard one of them do drugs or something stupid? Uumm never.

They are better than the crap that we have to listen to today. Let me tell you a story: Last year at my homecoming dance, the DJ played "Wannabe" and everybody, and I mean everybody was dancing and lipping or singing the song. My friend who listens to lots of heavy rap like Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, etc, and some gangsta rap, was even singing to them at the dance. I went up to him and said, "you like the spice girls?" He respondeed, "yeah I do. Don't you?" I said, "Yeah I love them." He said, "Who doesn't love the Spice Girls?"

I was surprised to hear him tell me that. I would've had no clue that he liked SG until that day. Even the chaperones (yes the teachers lol) where even dancing to the song and I didn't expect that either. The funny thing is, when the song ended, Lady Gaga's "Pokerface" came on and half of my friends where like, Turn her off for the love of god. I just started laughing. (I'm not saying Gaga is a bad artist. She is awesome and a great activist in LGBT rights. "Born This Way" ring a bell? And I wouldn't be surprised if SG and Gaga did something together, but that will never happen.)

They are just magical is some kind of way.

I never went to any of their concerts, not even their reunion tour which I regret not getting tickets for. But I know ill be seeing their musical when it comes out in 2012.

Just listening to their songs bring me into a timewarp when I was a child. I was cleaning my room today and blasting "Stop" and "Wannabe" and "Spice Up Your Life" and felt like a kid again.

And its kind of sad how kids these days won't experience a good band like them.

I really hope that they have one more tour so I can get to see them live at least once in my life.

And I can't stand hearing about justin bieber everyday. Lol. But its true I can't. Which is one reason that most people still love these girls.

I can't stand him either though. I just can't stand either of them, or music like them. :P

I remember when I was in the first grade, I stole my sisters spice girls cd, because I got tired of her playing it. I hated Wannabe and all their other songs. But now, I sort of like some of their songs.
