So, while looking around the internet, I came a across a site about old computer.
And i found something most interesting.
The original(or so it looks) iTouch or iPad.

That's the ancestor of all PDAs and smartphones - funny enough, back then, it looks like it was a huge commercial flop!

Either you've your head up your ass, and have been as such for 50 years, or you're a troll.

How exactly does he, by making this thread, fall into any of those categories?

I was wondering the same thing.

Nice find, Tyger. I want one :P

I think it's a neat find. It's remarkable how far the technology's come in just a few years.

It's a fucking PDA! Why are any of you surprised? Were you all born in Gen-TARD?

Being a Microsoft fanboy is just as bad as being an Apple fanboy. I don't see what's wrong with this thread. You obviously seem angry. 'Mad' would be a more appropriate word. We're trying to have a simple discussion concerning Apple's previous forays into the early PDA market. It's genuinely interesting. If you can't handle such simple and completely legitimate threads, by all means, do not comment.

The "ambitious Apple" of the 90s did fail quite badly at expanding their products into other fields, however, it's still interesting. I wouldn't consider the Newton the 'predecessor' to the iPad and other shit like that as much as it's the dwindling Apple of the early 90s trying to get a grip. Like him or not, Steve Jobs knows how to make money – without him, Apple wouldn't be what it is today.

Okay, great. Still, bringing such a harsh tone and personal insults into such a peaceful and normal thread is completely unnecessary. You didn't even address what made you mad. You just went all-out on the OP.

But I digress.

I've never been fond of PDAs anyway, so I doubt I'd want a Newton (but then again, who would?) It's a perfect example of how much influence Jobs has on Apple when it comes to their 'simplicity' ideals, which were abandoned after Jobs was fired from Apple. They tried to make their products more mainstream and failed horribly.

It's old, ugly, but cute all at the same time.

I fail to see how that is cute, in any sense of the word 0_o
...
XD

That being said, I think my dad had one of these, or at least some similar form of PDA
I specifically remember playing hangman on it.

Seriously, what the fuck is it with random trolls starting trouble on here, aside from it being the internet? Anyway, the device looks groty, but it is my iPod`s grandpa, or a butch grandma. To be honest, it looks like something I would throw through a window as a brick.
