am i going to die?
i've taken 6 or 7 paracetamol, i'm like 15 st 6lbs.
i've also got too many cuts to count, ranging from scratches to deeper than 1cm.
i don't know if i regret it.

It's like eating asprin. You can cause liver damage but you probably won't die from the pills (depending on the dosage amounts). And the cuts. Well those don't really play a part in it unless your bleeding out terribly in a fashion that you can't stop. In which case, start regretting and head for the hospital.

i can't go to the hospital, but i've got them bandaged mostly.
it's the ones which you take 2 for a normal dose.

You're 98kg. Paracetamol toxicity is about 200 mg/kg of bodyweight. Usually paracetamol tablets are about 500mg. You'd need to take about 20 to kill yourself, so fortunately you will not die. Just don't do it again please.

No. Not at all. 7 paracetamol will not kill you. You most likely will feel nothing from them really.

You should try talking to one of us about why you felt the need to take them though dude, we're a very open and friendly community here on VT and there will be someone who has gone through whatever you might be now. Feel free to make a thread or PM one of us, we an help you.

I took 35 paracetemol ages ago ( mine were half dose caplets i think) n well I'm still here felt like shot for days and my arms and legs were really heavy feeling but my liver was only temporarily damaged. So I shouldn't think your going to die from the paracetemol. Just end up rather ill.

Nah, all those pills you took will fight off any evil headache lurking! As for the scars, yes. You probably will.

You might have a stomach ache for a day or so, but you will definitely not die. If you want to talk PM me, I tried overdosing on a similar drug and I'm still around :hug:

If you ever have doubts like that again, it is better to play it safe and force yourself to vomit and call a medical professional for further help.

Some don't. When I overdosed in October 09 and June 10, I did that. My mum seemed to think it was the right thing to have done, and she's a doctor.

It is the right thing to do. It might not be good to induce vomiting, but it's better than leaving it in your stomach to cause even more damage.
My mum said that if anyone overdoses on anything in a tablet form, make them drink salt water so that they do vomit and them get them to a hospital.

With paracetamol it's a good idea to induce vomiting. Even if it's not a very pleasant experience.

They say not to induce vomiting because you should try your best to never have to. Forcing yourself to puke can mess up your throat and teeth and thats why it tells you not to.

Still.

At least he didn't have a headache!
