So my friend legit told me ten minutes ago that nick is going to create new episodes of old nick shows like Doug, rugrats, angry beavers, rocket power, and more. Why? Because their ratings are going downhill. I googled searched it and got some different views on it.

Just google search: Nickelodeon March 14

The sources I found im not too sure about or if it is true or not.

If this is true, I hope they don't ruin the shows.

I just don't understand why they can't just air the old shows. It would make everyone happy.

What are your opinions on it?

It'd be really interesting to see if this does amount to anything but I don't think they'll be nearly as good as the classic originals.

It would be. And not only kids would be watching them too. And they wont be as good cause the voices would probably be different. If the original creators are going to make the episodes, then we will know the episodes will be decent.

It could be true, but I kinda doubt it tbh.
For a start, I don't think many of the people who made it originally would be up for it.

I know I would be up for it. Nick is in such a bad state right now they can't even keep their rating up casue of shit ass shows like big time rush and stupid ass victorious and icarly.

I really hope it is true.

I thought you meant like Kenan & Kel I was about to rage! But seriously those two must nearly be as old as what Roger was...

Usually it's a legal reason, such as they don't have the rights to air them anymore. Cause it's not always made by a studio in Nickelodeon.

I really hope that's true. My whole childhood was spent watching Doug.

True. Nick can have all these channels but can't even give us a classic sunday or a nick rewind channel. And the last episode of the angry beavers, wasn't actually the last episode. They never aired the last one but there is audio or the actual episode I think on youtube. I havnt watched it yet.

Doesn't mean it can't happen. Maybe Not on the 14 or next year, its still possible. And just because people have "nothing to see hear" doesn't mean it can't be discussed.

Even if they do go through with new episodes of older shows, how will it really give their ratings a boost? People will only tune in for the new episodes of the old shows and then stop watching once that's over and done with. I wouldn't see a point in it. It's a waste of valuable air time and money.
