Well this past year has seen a number of school shootings.
Do u think that teachers should be able to carry concealed weapons in school? this would be in order to put a quick end so to say to school related shootings.

No.
Say they give my 100 pound, 5 foot 1 inches, art teacher a gun. A student could easily wrestle her for the gun and shoot someone.

No. They should just have school resource officers armed with guns.

stfu serial-thrilla. your so fucking negative.
I agree with Bobby, a teacher thats 5"1, 100 pounds would not have the guts to actually pull out a gun and shoot someone. And someone could just come up behind her, and surprise attack her.

it has nothing to do with guts. It's not like the teacher is going to walk around with the gun in their hand, read to shoot. A student could come up beind and take the gun.

Maybe teachers should be able to have a can of mace. In my school, we have policemen that stay in the school if a gun or other weapon is found or used.

Any sort of weapon isn't necessary. It's not that big of a problem. Do you honesly go to school everyday fearing getting shot? Is it really that much of a problem?

In some schools, kids think about that. In one of the schools in memphis a princeipal walks the halls with a baseball bat in fear of getting atacked.

If that is true, he has no business being a principal then.

just on a note as well, i would like to point out this is an even better reason to put strict regulations on guns.
in ireland we wouldnt never fear in a million years of having a shooting in a school. it would be like saying all teachers should carry harpoon guns in case a shark happens to stroll on in. strict gun regulation is the only answer.

yea most deffinately not. If a student for example is trained in martial arts then chances are they most likely know how to take the gun away from someone. It's a dumb idea. Ijn my spanish class there are two blackbelts that sit in the front row. Imagine how many black belts,or martial artists there are in that general school area.
