They're not going to come back thicker. That's a stupid old myth that was disproved long ago.

Hey guys,
I recently trimmed my hair really short, and I shaved off the hair that was on my shaft and right below it. I also trimmed down to almost nothing the hair that was on my balls and shaved the hair from there down to my butt. The skin is kinda itchy, but there's no bumps or anything. The hair is already growing back a little and I think that's what's causing it to be itchy, but I was wondering, how long does it normally take for the hair to grow out far enough to were it isn't itchy?

I usually itch somewhere from 1-3 days lol. Uhmm I use Hydrocortisone, it helps tremendously. You can get it at several different type of stores.

Thanks, but I don't have any hydro cortisone, is there anything else I can use?

I think it takes around 2-4 days for me until the itching stops, but it does not itch every time.
You could use some baby oil or some lotion after you have shaved. Or go buy some aftershave :)

If you don't have any skin irritation creams, just try using a moisturiser like vaseline. There's no harm in that. It's bound to itch for a while, there's not a lot more you can do than apply creams - try not to itch.

A month to like 6. My hair grows really fast so mine grow back in like 5 weeks. I don't shave 'em normally but I do trim them every two weeks or so.

If you use shaving cream when you shave it won't itch/burn as much.

you'll start seeing the hair back as soon as the next day, but to get bushier it may take a few weeks or so..
I get the irritation and it will take a while to grow back

They wont grow back thicker, it may appear like that but actually all you do is split your hairs into two which make it seem like they grow back thicker when they actually dont.

It depends on how fast your hair grows. I trimmed my pubes once and it took about 2 months to grow back half the same amount.
