I am getting a message on my hpne which says The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. I click on force close and then I get another pop-up that gives me the options system exception, QUIT, copy log to SD car, and report by LOTA. Does anyone know how to fix it? This happened a couple of days after I upgraded from Android 1.6 to 2.2.

You need to do a factory reset. Always make sure you keep all your data and settings backed up. Just google your phone version, android version, and factory reset for instructions.

It will reset the phone to the default settings for your current version of Android.
