Yes, I'm posting the prologue in two parts. (x Maybe three... I don't know yet.
--------------------------------------------
The world was once a lurid place
Bound to the distorted necro-world, Vispace,
By a sinister spirit-beast called Malet.
Virtuous sages became tyrant kings,
Scholars revolutionized weaponry,
Melding them with deranged torture devices.
Creatures of damnation walked among men,
Both observing and savagely hunting them.
The "Thirteen of Legend," wicked creations of Malet,
Were the most known of these monstrosities.
The Thirteen were threatening human existence.
Malet, the Heart Stealer,
Was the first creature to be formed.
He was a vicious killer forged from human sin
And rose to enslave the Necran people,
Claiming their world as his own domain.
A black creature resembling a furret
With three tails. Standing at nearly twice
The height of man with eyes that shown
Like the fires of Hell.
Unrelentingly, Malet began his assault on our world.
Where ever he traveled, morality fell.
Nations went to war, parents abandoned their children,
Cities were burned, people were forsaken by their government.
Malet stole the hearts of every human his gaze found,
Until the humans rose up against Malet and sought to destroy him.
A group of knights were formed,
Each wielding weapons able to harm Malet.
Enraged and threatened, Malet withdrew to his kingdom
Where he began to create twelve more creatures
To form the Thirteen.
First was Anouette, The Oracle, Malet's own agent,
An owl created to blend into our world and serve
as Malet's spy by reporting on human activity.
In time, Anouette lost her ability to hide among us
As she aged her feather began to grow silver
And her eyes grew white from exhaustion.
She retired to Malet's side, there to defend him if the time came.
With the success of Anouette, Malet created Opacor.
The behemoth beast dubbed "The Dusk Bringer"
Became the guardian to Malet's necro-world.
The ox-like beast Stood at a baffling height
That put the most majestic of trees to a dwarfing shame.
Opacor's skin was forged from a rare necro-stone
That resembled the night time sky,
And had darkened clouds bound to his ankles.
Opacor's eyes were as white as the stars that
His skin imitated, and his horns as sharp as talons.
In time, Opacor grew to be passive, a defender of the Necran.
Malet was soon unable to control Opacor
And the Necran people revolted against him.
Defeated, Malet fled to a barren plain in the necro-world
Where, in malice, he began forging the remnants of his army.
Feulard, The Skyward, was created from Malet's anger
As a gray-scaled dragon infused with the power
Of the elements themselves.
More like a serpent than dragon, Feulard bore
Four torn and weathered wings that could summon
Tremendous gusts with a single swing.
Before Feulard could turn against him as Opacor did,
Malet stole his heart and sealed it within his own body.
Feulard was forged as Malet's personal avenger.
As the spirit-beast's rage continued to grow,
So too his creations became even more malicious.
From the growing frustration, he brought forth
Morpied, the Malign.
Morpied was a vile and disfigured monstrosity.
A creature that resembled a man with no body below the waist,
Morpied stood around fourteen feet in height and had no face.
Where her face should be was just a white figure.
Despite having no eyes, she had developed a form of telekinetic sight
And is able to track any form of motion with ease.
Her mouth is only visible when attacking as it rips from the white barren space,
Otherwise, she spoke through telekinesis.
Her body was composed of an ever flowing tar and covered all but her left arm,
Which is exposed as a skeletal arm with a sickle formed at the end.
Morpied was sent to enslave the Necran people again.
She returned with a mass of nearly dead
And soon experimented and made them into undead soldiers
To serve beside Malet.
