Don't close your eyes, and if you need to, use your index finger and thumb to open your eyelid while you put the eye drops in. Then just put the dropper about an inch or a little less then that to your eye and press the bottle and let the drops come in without blinking. If you can't get them in yourself, ask someone else to help you. :)
Also, if they're drying out already, perhaps ask your eye doctor about it? There may be something wrong with either your contacts or the brand might make your eyes irritable and may not be good for you.

Get some on your finger and rub it on your eye. That's what I did. Also, blink a lot. Lack of blinking will dry your eyes out with contacts.

Tilt your head to one side and put a drop of the saline (or w/e it is you're using) into the corner of the lowest eye and blink lots. Tilt your head the other way and repeat for the other eye.
Don't know if this makes 100% sense but it works for me when I have contacts in :)

This.
It's what I used to do when I had this issue.
But yeah, really, you should talk to your eye doctor about perhaps changing the brand/type of contact, or see if he can recommend a different solution for you to use. I know personally that switching contact solutions can be the difference between being able to wear contacts for just a few hours before they dry out, to being able to wear them for 20+ hours without any issues.
