Braids

Any tips for braiding hair?

I can braid, but little pieces always stick up from them.

I have absolutely no tips because I can't even braid my own hair. :P But do you have layers? It may just be your layers sticking up.

If you have layers, it might help braiding your hair when it's wet. Helps with mine.

Also, are you braiding really tight or really loose?

if your hair isn't layered (i think i spelled that wrong) and pieces are still sticking out....happened with my hair before i got layers...anyway....rub hair gel on ur hands (not too much..just enough so that ur hands r sticky) and braid it like that....it worked for me...
