my computer informed me that i have multiple cookies and viruses n my computer. i use both norton antivirus and avast free antivirus
i deleted the program that i think caused the viruses(frostwire)
just wondering whats the best way to get rid of these viruses for good because i know they are still lingering in my system?

Frostwire is not a virus.

Best way to get rid of a virus is restore your computer to factory settings.
A virus can hide in your system files and sometimes impossible to delete.

i tried restoring on my last laptop and it hid in my system and it eventually crashed
basicaly u can never get rid of a virus
its gone for now but may come back

No, restoring it will get rid of the virus, how do you know you just didn't make the mistake of running into it again?

Deleting your hard drive and re-installing it back to normal works and should remove all any infected files.

Not just infected files, ALL files. Better have em backed up if you don't ant to lose anything precious

it has been fine
my avast antivirus caught 4 trojan horses today and i love it....
but i restored my last laptop when it got a virus and that didnt do shit
al it did was dig deeper into the harddrive and it finally killed it
i dont want this to happen again
