Well...I'm not sure if this goes here or in the tv thread...but, my older brother wrote to Dr. Phil. If he accepts it (he probably won't) I don't want my business on tv. I'm ok with it being like, my brothers disease or something...but he wrote about my past and my mom. I don't get why he has to put our business in someone elses.

I'm sure you will not be forced to be on the program if you don't want to. You know how they always blur people out, or make their voice funny, you can always do that. Or if they start filming in your house, ask your parents that you don't want to be on camera. I'm sure they will agree with that.

Joe basically summed it up, you can't be forced to be on the tv show. Also, Dr. Phil isn't really a good solution to problems, going on national tv, and letting the whole world know, but that's neither here nor there, I just want to tell you that you don't have to be seen when the camera men come to your house.

Well, I mean, either way I'd probably do it so they can't lie...but the point is, I don't understand why he did it. And I didn't mention this, but I will now. How do I talk to him about it without him getting angry?

Just go up to him that all this was uncalled for and will not do it. That this is our own private business and does not want the entire world seeing it.

They can't put you or your name on TV without your permission. Also does your mom know? If she doesn't give permission then neither you nor your brother could go on TV.
