The nightmares still haunt him in the darkest of ways
Your face will still find him on the brightest of days
He cannot forget the lies he was brought to believe
As next came the truth he could never conceive
How could you torture this boy and his heart?
How could you pull his soul right apart?
He’s bleeding inside, but that you must know.
The terror you’ve caused makes the blood keep a flow
I sit by his bedside each night that he rests
Wishing him well, and hoping the best
Watching him struggle and toss in the sheet
Give me a pain that I can’t seem to defeat
It rips at my heart to hear his hard sobs
So I must close the door and lock it’s old nobs
For his heart is too mangle to see such a day
When a pure kindly soul is so willing to pay
What can I do to fix what you’ve done?
You broken his heart, I guess you have won.
There must be a way to get rid of this day,
He’ll always remember, he always will pay
Your face will still find him on the brightest of days
He cannot forget the lies he was brought to believe
As next came the truth he could never conceive
How could you torture this boy and his heart?
How could you pull his soul right apart?
He’s bleeding inside, but that you must know.
