Do you think you can trust a friend who cheats?
If this person cheats on someone close would this person be there when you need them.

What kind of cheating are you talking about? Your post is kinda vague.

Well, Scott Pilgrim cheated on Knives with blue haired girl and he seemed like someone I'd trust.
Uh, I wouldn't trust someone juggling three or pour girls of course. But people cheat on others because they get bored with that person or simply because they're having relationship problems. I can't blame them, I've been there. Sure, it's hurtful to cheat, but I wouldn't go as far to say, "You sick bastard! I'll never trust you again!"

I don't think I could trust my friend if they were cheating. But if my best friend was cheating, I probably could still trust them. It's a "bro-love" type of deal.

I read it as cheating in a relationship. I mean, it's not that big of a deal to cheat at a for-fun poker game anyway.
So, with how I read it, no.
I just don't like people who don't have the decency to break up with their partner before fucking someone else. There's no excuses for that in my eyes.

What problems a friend of mine has in a relationship of theirs is no business of mine, and I won't take sides on it. If they decide to cheat on their girlfriend/boyfriend, that's nothing I should be nosy about.
Even good friends shouldn't bitch about each other's personal issues.

Personally, I couldn't be friends with someone (or date someone) who was dishonest, in any respect. Honesty is very important to me and since I have trust issues, it takes a lot for me to be able to consider someone my "best friend," so if they do something to fuck that up then I won't be able to trust them anymore.
But that's just me, everybody has different levels of how far someone would have to go before they break their trust.
Using the "cheating in a relationship" example, if my partner cheated ONCE, I'd leave them. That's unacceptable. If you get that bored of someone, at least do the mature thing and break up with them first, don't screw around with somebody else.
