"Windows cannot access the specified device path or file. You may not have appropriate permissions to access this file."

Because google is being unhelpful with my problem, I'm asking you guys.

When I click on a ZIP file to unzip it with WinRAR, for some reason I'm getting this error (it's been working previously...)

Anyone know any fixes for this? I can't make siggies if I can't extract the font files.

Windows 7, I am the administrator.

where are you choosing to extract it to?

where are you choosing to extract it to?

Just in the folder I saved it in, a folder I made in my documents.

that sounds odd, what else have you tried?

I tried unblocking the files, running winrar as an administrator, turning off UAC. I might try reinstalling winrar for kicks. Otherwise, I'll be calling my dad up, which I should have done to begin with :P

Just to be sure, check if you haven't any security software enabled that could cause that issue - ZoneAlarm or that kind of.

Nope, I don't have anything on my computer other than SpyHunter, which I've been using for years anyway.

Ehh, well, I just noticed it when I tried to open the files. It was working when I came back from my trip, on the 19th, that was the last time I even tried to do this till I found it wouldn't work the day I posted this thread.
