I read either on these forums or somewhere that green tea boosts up your metabolism. please fill me in so i can get a proper diet.

Yes, that is true ^_^

Im pretty sure that like other teas like that, black tea or read tea (IF those are even real, I know it's something like that) can do that also.

Dont expect it to just make you drop weight like flies though, it probably wont be enough to be very noticeable, but yes it is metabolism boosting!

Yes, it does a little. Just don't drink gallons of it. It also has antioxidants which are good for your body.

But it's not going to be like an instant weight loss. YOu should still drink water, have a good diet, and get some exercise.

Are you looking to lose weight?

I think the reason green tea boosts metabolism is a combination of the AOX and its caffeine content. Not sure if there are other factors. But to answer your question, yes, to an extent.

Yes, you are absolutely right. Green tea helps a lot to boost up your metabolism as Rent said this may be because of the combination of the AOX and its caffeine content.
