So my "significant other" is the same age as me (14) and we've known each other for about 2 years. Anyway she comes over a lot and some of the things she does bothers me and i don't know how to react.

One time my extended family came over for a few weeks and they all stayed at my house. So there was about 20 people.

Me and her were laying on the couch on the computer one day and everyone else was just eating dinner and the younger ones were playing ps3. But then she started getting a bit too close and she laid her head on my chest... so given the fact my family was here i tried to change positions but she wouldn't let me. So then after a minute or two she started pulling my shirt a bit up and rubbing my tummy. IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. i don't know if anyone saw but she was doing it for awhile until i got the guts to tell her to stop.

1. How do I handle this
2. Why does she want to rub my tummy?

That's slightly weird considering i don't even get close to my boyfriend when his family is around. She may just want to use the time for intimacy, and not care about what your family thinks about it. You should talk to her about it and tell her why you wanted her to stop so she understands.

As for the rubbing thing, she may be trying to arouse you or something of the such. I don't understand why she'd do it in front of your family though..

In my opinion, if a girl acts close to you, let her.

She is your girlfriend. You expect her not to cuddle you? Some girls like to cuddle their boyfriend, and things like that. If you are uncomfortable with her doing that in front of lots of people, just calmly let her know.

Tummy rubbing... kinda odd, but otherwise, I wouldn't mind that at all. Be glad you have a girlfriend who you can do that stuff with. As for me and my girlfriend, we live 200 miles apart. We'd both do a hell of a lot to have a chance to cuddle like that... Just take it for what it is mate :) Theres a lot of people out there who wish they could be doing that kinda stuff...

I'm not a fan of PDA anywhere, especially in front of family. What you guys do in private is your own business, but it shouldn't be done in public (especially with younger children around!)

To answer your questions, just tell her that you would rather not be all lovey in front of family, it's a bit awkward.

And as for the whole belly rubbing thing, eh, it's not that weird. I've heard of that before. My sister rubs the back of her boyfriend's neck all the time. Just a sign of affection.
