I forget all the time. I am suppose to take cymbalta after dinner. My foster parents are suppose to be the ones to give me my meds when I am suppose to take them but they instead give me a weeks supply every sunday. They said I need to learn how to manage my own medication and be responsible or whatever. I am cool with that cause I dont really like them telling me what to do.

I dont know how many other people here are in charge of their own meds or if anyone else has a problem with forgetting to take them.

I have a pill box and I have even tried setting an alarm on my computer but half the time I turn it off and go back to what I am doing and then forgetting. By time I remember its time to take my sleeping meds and I am not suppose to mix the two.

Anyways I am rambling does anyone have anything that helps them to remember?

Use a piece of paper, and write down every time you take your meds. Reminds your parents, because they might forget sometimes too.

Use your pill box, it is to help you. Just get into the habit of reminding yourself. Use your pill box, make a chart. Take your meds at the same time everyday.

Taking your needed medication on time is better than getting them all at once in the end. If you dont have anything severe then it shouldnt be a problem. But if its for a disease or sickness then just make it your priority to take it. It can be a few minutes to half an hour late. As long as it gets into your system you should be good :). Pill boxes to me are only good for just organizing the pills you need to take at the time needed
