Not so long ago, I've experienced something that pissed me off rather bad... I got kicked out of pub, just cos I'm a lesbian... So I was wondering... How is it with other people? Have you ever got some really weird or exaggerated homophobic reaction?

Hmm I couldn't donate blood because I am gay and not a virgin, when they told me that, I was mad

They are idiots to think that moving a gay person's blood to a straight person's blood ain't going to turn the straight person gay.

That's disgraceful. You know you can sue people for doing things like that, because they're homophobic and discriminative.

Most people don't even know I'm gay yet they still give me crap about it. The only people who know I'm gay are my closer friends who understand it and don't mistreat me for it. It's depressing when people are really cruel about things like this, but you've just got to stick it out and remember who you are. In the end, them insulting you or doing something discriminative because of your sexuality just shows how insecure they are about themselves.

The only time I can say I was actually bullied was when I was in 2nd grade. Loooong before I found out I was gay, but everyone else at the time guessed it. It wasnt until a while later that I became more evidently guyish as I like to be :P

But this girl in middle school who I of course, being 7, considered a 'big girl.' She and her brother punched me and pushed me around into the high schoolers sitting in the back (I was so used to sitting in the front so it was not a great place for me to say the least). The bus driver didn't do anything about it but yeah, thats as far as it went for me.

Actually the reason why they have the restriction is because gay men are statisticly more probable to carry HIV. It is now a rather outdated rule however.

People are very judge mental to things they don't understand. Hate to say it, but that is the way it is. There will come a time that people understand the gay community, but it is going to take a while.
