help i need a good excuse

basically i had an old computer and i dont use it now cuz its broken and my dad gave it away but it had loads of private stuff on like all my embarassing stories and bad experiences, stuff that i dont let anyone know cuz id get so much grief and now someone has the computer and if they fix it theyll find out its mine cuz its got my familys names in. they had a password on but wat if they hack it? what should i say incase they see it i need an excuse or something. help please?

Was this computer sold to someone you didn't know? If it was sold to someone you didn't know then the chances of them ever finding you to tell you they know are fairly small, and if you are never going to meet the person does it really matter?

i thought that but its like a recycling centre but people also buy stuff and i know some people that buy the computers and rebuild them but chances are they will leave it there or clear the memory.

yeah but theres other peoples names in it and the people who do the recycling bit sell the bits on and to alot of people who live around me. if they read it and saw someones name aswell as mine then im in trouble cuz its quite harsh what i wrote... i just need an excuse incase they find out, any suggestions to put my mind at rest?
