Well, that isn't quite an age gap. But if you are 18, then you are allowed to date someone of that age. Since you are under 18, it might cause problems.

It is up to you as to whether or not you want to tell your parents what age your girlfriend is, but I guess since your 17, it's sort of in the middle of being ok, and not being ok. I guess it depends on how well your relationship is, and if your parents accept you dating someone older, and her dating someone younger.

Not really a problem, not with the law or anything like that, but maybe with your parents.
My sister is 17 dating a 19 year old, but my parents don't really mind. It depends on your parents though. Mine have let me date a 15 year old when I was 12, but it really depends on the maturity of yourself, your girlfriend, and your parents.

If your girlfriend is horny or you're horny all the time, that may be a problem. But, it may also be a problem if you've been caught doing things in the past and your parents still think you do the same thing. I wish you luck.

well the age is not that far... "age doesn't matter" hehe if u really like the girl u should be ready on how ur parents will react about ur relationship with an older girl.. but i kinda feel that they will accept her.. just be positive :)

In this situation, age really is just a number. Don't let a silly number come in the way of a genuine attraction and relationship between two people - just go for it dude. Life is good, live it, stop being bound by silly things like this

I am 17 and dating someone 21 so I don't really see an issue. A four year age difference isn't normally that big of a deal so a three year difference shouldn't be either. Honestly the only person who should be wondering should be her since most girls rarely date younger men.

When do you turn 18? Your parents will either be extremely against this or okay with it depending on this. I suggest telling them she's 20 beforehand. Before they freak out when they meet her. If you're turning 18 in a short time, your parents should be okay with it. It's not a big age difference, just it may be illegal where you are if you have sex with her while you're still 17. My guess is that it won't matter that much unless people you know are against you dating an older woman. It's really not that different since you're both older.

well when you think of it age is just a mesure of maturity ( not for everyone tho:rolleyes:) youre parents arent cool with it then its a probleme but not a deal breaker. also if you want to take a different look at it when people get marrried theres often a huge age gap, like for exemple i know of some friends whos parents have an age difference of 5 years...so yeah what ever makes you happy
