So, we all know what inhaling is, now kids, don't we?
In a place like this, where expatriates aren't getting their goodies easily, they tend to go off do a lot of thing to get their high, cheaply.
My first experience with inhaling is when I was 9. My father tried to fix a chair with a super glue that emitted a very strong and pungent odor. I liked that odor, and as I curious child, I looked up the glue.
I opened the glue top, and started inhaling it. Things were went hazy, as if I have lost connection with the world for a brief moment. Then found myself backed up by the wall, just looking the wall on the opposite side. It was turning from left to right, and again left to right, as if I had spinned around.
I stood up fast, the effect went a way. I hurriedly put back the cap and the glue to where they belonged. And I was like "wow".
I did start sniffing the glue once in a while, when parents aren't around and grandmother isn't looking. I just put a small pea-sized pase in the cap and started sniffling the glue. It didn't give me a strong high, but it give me this brief and faint out of body or lost connection with the senses feeling.
I stopped, somehow. It didn't feel good in all the way. My eyes started to get irritated and filled with tears. My lungs started to burn. I still know the brand, it's Pattex.
Well, I don't know why I am sharing with you guys about this now. Most probably because I came back to it. Sniffing small glues that we keep around here. And those from the cans are stronger from those that are stored in tubes.
Also, when I started using pen, we also starting using white-outs. You should see my face along with the teachers when I was sniffing the correction fluid. Funny days at school. :)
And paint(there is some from the house Janitor), I scoop up and put them in a plastic bag, and I start inhaling from them. You don't get a real high, but the smell is nice.
And you know what's my favourite place to visit? The petroleum station; boy do I love the smell of kerosene and benzene.
All of my inhaling probably have damaged my lungs a lot more than my cigarette smoking habits(which I have quit), probably lost a braincell or two.
I really like to try gas duster and jenkems!
So, do you have a history in inhaling solvents or propellents and the like? Are you interested in it? Are you against its abuse?
Post your thought then!
