Does masturbating count as being sexually active? Just wondering for when the time comes when I have to go to a doctor etc

I don't think masturbation counts at all. Remember, even young kids do it, and it isn't a sexual thing. It's just part of growing up. I would say its part of your sexuality.

I've always thought of being sexually active as "having sex", and while i think masterbating is a sex "act" I don't think it means you're having sex. Doctors probably ask because they need to know if they should check for stds, which you can't get from masterbating. aside from the hymen being broken if u finger, masterbation dosen't change u physically so i dont think most doctors would want or need to know about it. I could definetly b wrong though lol

when the doctor asks if you are sexually active, unless you are having actual intercourse or oral with someone then the answer is no...no matter how much you may love yourself, it doesn't count

I would have to agree with the above. Masturbation is sexual, but I'm pretty sure sexually active means humping someone!

no sexually active is when you have sex on a regular basis or have at least down it once, hope that helps :)
