I've wanted to play this game or is this a sequel? For a long time now, too bad it's on Xbox and probably the best thing to come out of Poland in my opinion lol.

Poland? It was made in Ukraine.
And it is also on PC.

Well there is a M2033 book and this game. 2034 is in development.
The game is not very long but it is very hardcore.

haha I started watching videos and found that out, I must have got them mixed up.
Yes I seen the book as well one of the few novel based games.

Yes I heard it was Call of Duty short, but had excellent gameplay and story. I like the way your health is as long as your mask stays intact. I take it you have it on PC? Also i've heard the game is all in subtitles (on IGN) but gameplay footage seems to be in English... Can you shed some light on this?

There is German, Russian and English as language and these languages as subtitles also.
By the way you only wear your mask when you go to the surface. When your mask breaks, you die.
You can be killed even while wearing your mask if you take enough damage, I dont know what you mean.

Is there no way of taking the subtitles off I take it?
Oh ok so is it just a normal red ring around the screen type thing for health?

Don't know what I mean about what?

You said " I like the way your health is as long as your mask stays intact. " There is no such thing.

And you can disable subtitles if you want.
And yes, your health regenerates, like in any other games nowadays. But you can always use medical stuff to boost your health to full in a second

Your helmet cracks and chips when you take damage is what I seen from gameplay trailers and I would assume that if this broke you would suffocate from whatever toxens where above ground.

Yes but you can also die while having your gasmask on

OK, but is this effect just there to add to the realism and danger?

Yes.

I don't know what you mean because I think there is nothing special about it.
There was a nuclear war and when you get out, you have to wear a gasmask. It is no problem because before starting the mission you always stop by a shop to buy filters. This is not an open world game so you can find everything anywhere you want, before doing anything.

You'll need to be hit for like 30 times for your gas mask to crack, not a big deal since you can find replacements.

Ok, this is what I wanted to hear, I was under the influence that your Gas mask would act as another control of how much damage your player would be taking before death. Obviously you could die from your "Blood effect" gague but I thought that if enough damage was taken to the Gas mask to the point it breaks would see the characters death (but would be as fast acting as the "blood effect".

But it isn't. As I said, you can still die with your gas mask on.

I know that's what I just explained.
