Teenage Musician Kills Herself At 17

Here's a recent story that I think belongs here. Teresa Veloz committed suicide last month at 17 years old. She bled to death from wrist cutting and was found dead by her parents later that day. She was unique in the fact that she was one of the few female sample based artists and producers. The reasons for her suicide are unknown as of now and her family has not spoken out about it yet. Hope her family stays strong through this.

That was my first thought.
It's sad, because if that is the reason, she probably would have gotten well-deserved recognition eventually. She was only 17, she would have had a whole career ahead of her.

Regardless of why she did it, it's sad. What's sadder, is that kids do this all the time.

): That is really sad. Any suicide is sad, for that matter. When someone kills themselves it's worse then when they die by accident, in my opinion. Because you know they suffered. Maybe not while they did it but before.

She's was my age. And that's...too young.

I'll pray for her and her family so sad. Just curious though, just because she cut herself and bled to death, does that mean she meant to commit suicide? Couldn't she just have been self harming and didn't know she needed to go to the hospital? Or did the evidence clearly scream suicide?
