I'm confused by how you would deliberately manage to orgasm without ejaculation unless you are saying it is the first time you have been able to ejaculate.

But anyway, when I first became able to ejaculate my cum tended to be yellow. This is not uncommon. It can happen later on and there are several possible causes. The most likely in your case, and in the case when it happens to guys at first, is that the yellowness is caused by a backup of staler sperm than usual. When you ejaculate more regularly the sperm is fresher and more white.
