ear piercings >.<

I just got my ears pierced XD Ive wanted them peirced for so long, but everyone in my family has like a phobia to ears especially when they are pierced >.<
I had them peirced when I was little but they got infected and they grew over. Im paranoid now that my ears will get infected or the earing will ripp out or something. but no one in my family will look at my ears let alone talk about them.
So how likely is it that my ears will get infected again and how do you deal with them if they do? and lol has anyone ever ripped an earing out of there ear?

Well, if you feel pain in your ears, and there is dark coloring around your ears, then they are probably infected. You should see a doctor.

The earring will only come out, if the person who gave you the piercing, did not do it right. Other than that, it probably won't fall out.

If the piercer didn't clean whatever they used to pierce your ears, which is unlikely, then it won't get infected from that. Clean your ears daily. Try to do it in the morning and at night. I usually forgot though, lol, so at least try to once a day, somewhere near daily. Don't try to touch it too much, unless you wash your hands. Wash your hands, then once or twice a day move the earring around in your ear so the skin doesn't grow around the earring. Just move it back and forth, don't take it out. If you have backs in your earring, you know the thing you put behind it to keep the earring in, don't have it to where it squeezes your earlobe. Have it to where you can move it in a circle. Just try and keep it clean for a few weeks, maybe a month. Then your ears should be used to having earrings in them!

I can assure you that it seems much more likely that an earring would be ripped out than it actually is. I've had my left ear pierced for 5 years and haven't come remotely close to having it ripped out in any situation. Tugged on a bit? Sure. Never ripped.

I do, however, recommend removing it before a fight if at all possible. Rings and such are very easy targets in a fight. In those situations, ripping an earring out is a very quick way to win. ;)
