hi the other day i bought my first pair of silky boxers. i wore them to bed and then ejaculated almost instantly. I was wondering if that has happened to anyone else, or am i just weird??

No, it is cool dude when us guys go through puberty we are very easily turned on and can sometimes spontaneously ejaculate, it's ok, it happens. It is pretty common when we experience new feels. I don't have any silk boxers, so I don't know what they feel like, but don't worry about it. Your penis was probably just stimulated a lot faster because silk feels so good in general, and your penis is so much more sensitive.
