I was wondering is anyone here has tried Chromium OS. It looks cool, and I love Chrome, just don't know it I like it enough to try a whole new operating system based around it.
So, if you've ran it on your computer:
How user friendly is it?
Is it customizable?
Is it better then Windows?

COS is not really designed to be ran as a desktop operating system. It's made for netbooks. It wont do you as much good as OSX, Linux, and Windows on a desktop computer.

No I haven't tried COS.
When I saw the demo a couple months back it left me skeptical, as much as I love chrome.

I wouldn't use it, from what I've seen. I do more than just use the internet browser on my computer.

It's complete shit. Imagine... Well it's basically a fucking browser. I can't imagine this having too much potential for anything except strictly email/microsoft word/etc-centered jobs.
Also; there appears to be no shut down button... wtf?
