Well evidently Gary Moore died on February 6th... for those of you that don't know, he was the guitarist for Thin Lizzy and he also had an outstanding solo career... this really sucks :( He was only 58, and he was probably my favorite living guitarist.

Though I don't know him well, RIP.

One of my favourite bands did a very complementing cover of one of his songs however. So that's why I'm bothering to post.

Thin Lizzy.....great band man. He had a style that was unique. Ill miss him.

It really was... He was a great blues artist. My Dad played with him back in his pub days when he still thought he could make it in this career haha.

Great style, wasn't a fan of his tone or music for that matter. I like his playing though.

I love Cold Day in Hell ;) I learned like 1/2 the song and improvised over the rest of it... really fun. I want to try it with a band now...
