Going through a breakup, decided to write...what do you think?

One day, the moon ran to the tree, through the inky black night. She cried. The owl, ever-ready, perked its ears around. “What’s wrong?” asked the owl, inquisitive and insightful. “The sun left me alone, he said it was needed. Now I’m alone in the sky,” said the moon. The owl, calmly and gently, replied, “Don’t worry; maybe it is for the best.” The moon, sad and confused, started crying; “Now I’m alone, left in the dark. Just me and the lonely old tree bark.” The moon looked away, ashamed of her tears. The owl turned ready, ready to comfort her fears: “It is for the best, you will see. Trust me, just look, see how bright you can be.” The moon still cried, still questioned herself. The owl said again, “the sun has its own path, and you have yours. Just look, see how brightly you can shine in your own sky.” “I’m still alone, am I not?” asked the moon. “Not true!” cried the owl. “Take a look around you. The stars that support you are all there for you.” The moon started thinking, “I guess you are right, for without the sun, I can surely shine bright.”
