Year long delema

Alright so I have a problem. (if couldent already guess). So there is this girl I go to school with whom I have been "chaseing" for most of my 8th grade year and I feel very,very strongly for her but she is dating someone else and because I have her in a majority of my classes she is hard to avoid. Now I still want to be her freind but her boyfriend Is ruining our friendship because he is over protective and has threatened to beat the shit out me after I just had a casual conversation with her. So really my delema is if I should remain friends or to end our friendship.

Now, I'm not sure about this, but I don't think he'd really beat you up over talking to her.. If that was true, then he'd most likely have to beat a lot of guys up if she was social. I'd tell her about the way he's acting, because that's slightly scary and possessive. Remain friends with her. If he ever gets close to beating you up, just tell someone.
