It depends on the girl to be quite honest. Many girls go for looks. Many go for the athlete. I.e. the football player, the wrestler. Other girls go for guys with good, or interesting personalities. I.e., the smart guy, the goth.

You shouldn't have to change yourself to like someone. The person should like you for who you are.

It's hard to know what type of guys girls are attracted to, so the best bet is to just be yourself, and I'm sure you'll do fine.

To be honest, every girl looks for something different. Besides, what girl seems to have been modified as past relationships. Obviously, it is mainly about appearance and personality, but I know that girls like quiet guys and girls who are only interested in very outgoing children.

You get no average from comparing completely different individuals. If you want to know, ask a girl your fond of what she looks for in a guy. If she describes you, go for it, if not, find someone else. Or try it anyway, anything could happen.

Personally, I like guys that are confident (tho shy guys are cute too) and know how to make me laugh. I also don't like "dumb jocks".
Appearance isn't always a huge deal to me, it's more how we click personality-wise :)

a first impression is everything. Try to look appealing (edit: I just noticed this is a really unhelpful thing to say considering the actual question you asked. My bad, but that's really all there is to it) the first thing anyone sees is the persons louder shell, but once you get the know them you'd need to really open up. Show her how great a guy you are.
But besides that I personally like smart guys.

Well, most girls that are like me would wunt sombody who takes care of themself and stays healthy. Then, most girls wunt a sweet guy that knows how to have fun. In my opinion it would be sweet to find a guy that was funny but knows how to be serious. Basicly girls are just looking for a best friend that they can cry infront of and tell all there secrits to but also kiss them too. :D hehe

guy who does stand up for himself and his girl. and doesn't let anyone say mean things about her or you both as a couple. Also, don't let your mother control you. girls HATE that.

Guy who doesn't stir drama. keep things simple don't make drama when it's not needed. it's never needed. chaos doesn't make for a good relationship. :D

have good higene and keep your room clean. - honestly being clean is a big deal. If she walks into a dirty room that can be offensive. so keep it clean :D
