I saw a mod on the vB official forum that prevents double posting. but I am not sure if it will do it only for certain forums

if it can, we need this double posting prevention for several forums

We need it everywhere :P it auto merges the two posts. The only thing i dont like about it, makes a bitch to bump your own thread.

since bumping your own thread is alright, most of the time, not worth it. Merging isn't that hard.

But yeah, it's really that easy. The only annoying part is verifying the action.

You definitely don't want to be getting used to that just sayin'

Anyway, I think that if you just report the post(s) then it should be taken care of by moderators, it is after all why we're here :P It would be really bad if applied to places like diaries and you did something like daily entries. I just don't think we need this kind of tool at this point in time.

At this stage I really don't want to add any more modifications.
