...Wow. Amazing film.
I know it's not really a teen's film but hey, I liked it! Best acting I've seen in a film for a long time.
What do other people think of it? Most girls I've spoken to about it seem to like it for Colin Firth... Heh.

I really, REALLY want to see it.
I'm in it somewhat for Colin and Geoffrey, but the main reason is that I'm a huge fan of Helena's. And she was nominated for a Golden Globe and an Oscar for it, the only reason I watched the Golden Globes, so I really... really... really... want to see it. I mean, she played the Queen Mother :P I have to see that.
And everyone says it's great, so I'd probably see it eventually anyway.

^ I grew up in Belsize Park. :/
The fuck... I desperately want to meet her. But I don't want to stalk her house or anything you know XD *cough* She lives in the Haverstock Hill area *cough*
I'm sure you'd be able to recognize the house(s). I want to try walking around there the next time I'm back home and see if I can find it just for kicks :P

Heh :) I imagine quite a few blokes watching the film are put in the uncomfortable situation of fancying the Queen Mother..!

She's lived in Belsize Park at least since she started dating Tim in 2001. She had been living with her parents until only a few years before that.
Here's my primary source (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyyxGwX70QM&feature=related) :P
And a biography works too. (http://www.talktalk.co.uk/entertainment/film/biography/artist/helena-bonham-carter/biography/40?page=4)
She might have a second house over there or something, but her main residence has been in Belsize Park.

Yeah, when you think about it that way, it's bothering me a bit XD

I want to see that movie so badly! That one and Black Swan...
It premieres here on Thursday but I don't have a cinema close to me that shows movies right when they come out. Unfortunately...

Lol, well, it's your opinion whether it's bad or not. However, you should consult the 12 Oscar nominations including best motion picture, best actor, best supporting actor, and best supporting actress, 6 Golden Globe nominations, and the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama among other award nominations, about whether to watch it or not.
:D

I saw this movie on opening night, but none of my friends cared enough to see it so I had to go alone. Colin Firth was amazingly good but I was in it for Helena. Hahaha, I loved it when Bertie (Colin) was shouting all of those swear words. Too funny.
I wished I lived near Helena, she sounds like such an amazing lady.
There should be an HBC fan club on here lol. (Forgive me if there is, i'm new here so I probably wouldn't have seen it)

Oh my god, I can't imagine why I haven't thought of that.

In other news, she won the BAFTA Award *YES* Lol, as well as Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush, along with three other wins for the movie.

I loved this movie. Especially cuz it was kinda personal to me. The moment before the main speech seemed so genuine, the nerves, the relief at the end, is just breathtaking. And yes, maybe the best performance this year. Natalie Portman coming in close second probably
