Okay so I'm 16 and 6 months, i tihnk i began puberty somewhere around turning 13, so maybe slightly later than some.

Anyway, I need to shave my top lip (i wouldnt call it a moustache) roughly once or twice a fortnight and thats it. No sideburns, no stubble, just a couple of hairs on my chin, and I mean a couple. Like 2 or 3.

I also dont have very hairy legs, no hair on my arms at all, and i have just started to grow a 'snail trail' I do however have plenty of armpit and pubic hair, which I have had for quite a while...

Anyway, its not genetics, because all the males on my dads side of the family are like gorilla's  SO I was wondering is this normal? I though puberty was supposed to be complete in about 4 years, and yet I am coming up to that and still have like no facial hair. Is it normal for it to take this long develop? I am worried because some of my friends who are only 15 need to shave every couple of days or they have full on stubble, and their arms and legs are like forests, and yet I have none

Everyone is different. Even if the boys in your family have a lot of hair, it doesn't necessarily mean that you will too. Just let puberty take its course. Your body will change when it's ready.

Dude everybody is different, and you can't just look at your dads side for genetics, there are guys on your moms side who you share genes with too. Plus there are recessive genes and all that too, so yeah you can look at your male relatives for a general idea, but there is no guarantee that you will have hair like them.

I was pretty hairy, I had noticeable leg hairs at 12 and hairier legs than my dad at 14. My dad doesn't have any chest hair either and I have some too. Hair can be really random, and can still develop well into your 20's, you can just be going along and when you least expect it you take a shower and notice a new patch somewhere

im 17 and i shave my face everyday and have a hairy chest, armpits, legs and pubes. i have only just started getting a snail trail though. everything else grew when i was between 12-15. my male relatives arent particulary hairy though.
