Are any of you vegetarians or vegans? I'm not either one, but I don't really like meat, so I was thinking of just giving it up and adding more fruits and vegetables to my diet and become a vegetarian. It would make it easier to explain why I don't want to eat a lot of things, too.

I'm trying to be more vegetarian and I find my self eating way more vegetables than meat every meal. Meat is starting to get bland.
(However ham and hamburg are still good.)

I consider myself a vegetarian. However I am forced to eat meat against my will on occasion which is only chicken. I guess you can say I'm trying to become one. However, when I move out I'm going full out veg!!!!! XD

I went through a phase where I wanted to be vegetarian, but I like KFC and McDonalds to much. :P
If they were to shut down, I'd go veggie.

I'm a vegan, it takes alot of discipline. You know what with the whole no eggs, no milk none of that. But its extremely healthy for you if you eat alot of veggies. I have no problem with it, I like veing vegan.

No I'm not. I love meat. I love chicken, I love pork. I understand why some people go vegetarian, but I love to eat meat. That's my choice.

I'm a Veggi :D I love it... although I do get tempted by Kfc but I resist.. but I knew Id get tempted cause I work there xD But yeah Id never eat meat again... The reason I stopped was because I read an article about how they are killed and it made me start to think of the consequences of my actions. So if I dont eat meat less animals are killed :)

I love meat and think its the natural way of things for us to be meat eaters. I dont approve of factory farming though and wish all meat was free range or organic.

I've been vegetarian for nine years :P It's so easy after you do it for a while. You forget what meat really tastes like. I can't remember it, so I don't desire it.
When I became vegetarian, it wasn't the health thing. I just got to a point where I couldn't tell the difference between that animal I'd pass on the countryside and the food that was grilled and served to me. Every time I go to the grocery store (I go to this place called Whole Foods. I'm a natural food nut as well) I can't even get near the meat section. I see poor, dead animals :(
I'm half vegan. I want to be better about it. I use fake butter and cheese constantly. It's eggs that get me. None if it's that bad, vegetarian and vegan diets. The most common question I get is "What do you eat?" Lolwut? Because the only food in the world is meat. I can eat a ton of things :P

I've never had any desire to become a vegan / vegetarian to be honest, I quite like a nice bit of steak and normally have at least one portion of meat a day anyway.
The odd thing is though that I'm not really 100% keen on killing meat that I would then go on to eat. I don't mind shooting birds / rabbits / other game but for some reason I don't think I could kill sheep / chickens / cattle e.t.c. but I'm quite happy to buy it from a supermarket to eat.
I went through a phase where I wanted to be vegetarian, but I like KFC and McDonalds to much.

The thought never crossed my mind. I absolutely love a massive juicy burger, or steak, or chicken... I could go on.
Besides. Bacon makes everything better :P

I'm not a vegetarian, as I don't see a reason to be. Humans are omnivores; omnivores eat meat (look at the animal world since we are, after all, animals). Therefore, I'm fine with eating meat. Besides, I love a good chicken fillet every now and then.

That's because you don't (and wouldn't) know any different. You're already used and adapted to your eating habits.

well i tried to be vegetarian but i missed meat too much :P but now im a Pescetarian. Pescetarians eat everything but red meats so basically the only meats are chicken, fish, and turkey. its a really good intermediary between Veterianism and Omnivorism.
