Anything is possible. I know many people who are homophobic, but they are gay. I don't understand it either.

I`m sure fear could also play a big factor into that one.

Ex: A boy is raised in a very religious family, and is taught from an early age that homosexuals are 'bad' and that you`ll go to hell if you`re a homosexual. Boy remains homophobic as he gets older. Boy, against his will, grows up to find his sexuality as a homosexual. Obviously, fear, anger, resentment, and other negative emotions course through him since he has become something he was raised to resent.

I think it's because they're afraid of themselves. They don't want to believe they're gay, so they put on an act to make themselves feel better about the whole situation. Rather than dealing with the fact that they're gay, they act as if being gay is wrong to hopefully turn straight.

I'm no asshole and no one knows or has the suspicion that I'm Bi. Those type of people just over do it to hide them selves.

A Homophobic Gay:
Raised in very religious home, taught homosexuality is bad, discovers his true feelings, and hates himself, and others. Quite common, and some even hate homosexuals to a point where they kill them to "turn" themselves straight...quite scary imo

A real possibility, but sad because these guys can never be happy.

Also a real possibility but could have a happy ending when they finally realise what they are and then accept if for what it is, and be happy with themselves.
