View Full Version : A Man Called Truth

There was kind young man who called himself Truth
He lives through his days to show us the proof
That we all deserve some closure in life
For should we not gain it, we'll fall shallow in strife

Truth was a man who was there for the world
One who could stand for those who have stood
He's caring and loving, with compassion at best
But you will not know him by the badge on his vest

He'll hold your hand and brush your hair
He'll always be there when no one will care
He's brutally honest in the kindest of ways
But that's just the truth, in his old fashion age

Truth is a man that you'll love all your life
But he'll take not a lover, or even a wife
Because truth is alone in this mad world today
As no one can love him in an honest old way

Truth will not hurt you on purpose you see
Sometimes his words are meant to be free
Don't hide from his words they'll do you just fine
If you can't accept truth... I'll let him be mine
