Ok, ever since I had Xbox Live my NAT Type has always been Open, but now today my NAT type is Strict.
But something has got to be wrong with this- This is my internet:
Download: 6.8mbps
Upload: 0.82mbps
Ping: 63
Bandwidth: 845mbps
Everything is working fine on my PC but my Black Ops is classed as a strict NAT type and Its showing the effects (nobody can connect to me, trouble joining games. etc..) This is also effecting my Xbox Live in general for example: I will be unable to connect to some of my friends partys.
Whats wrong? and how can I fix it?

Imo, Leave it strict. Its the safest setting for your entire home network.
However if you wish to open it (unrecommended) then you need to change it on your router.

Why is it unrecommended?

NAT stands for network adress translation
basically, it stops any device connecting to any other device on your network from the internet
when its strict its on, doing its job, stopping devices from beinh hijacked (worst case)
off is when it allows devices to connect, Xbox to Xbox, PS3 to PS3, which is needed for online play as consoles use peer to peer to play

Open is really the best way for gaming though Autoplay. You really can't connect at all with strict. If you can, it always seems to be laggy as hell.

oh yeah i know lol, it has to be open to connect to more than 10 systems at one time, its just risky if you tend to do online banking ect
if not go for it, the worst that will happen is you will have to turn NAT back on on remove a viruses from your PCs and Laptops

Forward the ports on your router. http://portforward.com/ is a great place to start. I alternate between "open" and "moderate" NAT everyday. Just find your router on the list and follow the steps from there.

Which ISP are you using?
When my NAT goes strict all I have to do is
Dashboard > My Xbox > System Settings > Network Settings > Scroll Right > Reset To Factory Defaults.
Then use automatic to find my networking hardware and it's open.
