Thank you. I usually try to make banners and button elegant and smooth. x)
And the slogan was just what popped into my head.

No they won't, nor was this my intention.
I didn't make it theme-oriented because I've seen them reject new banners, themes, and ranks- repeatedly. So I wouldn't bother aspiring to redesign the site, not when the staff and community is so attached to the traditional appearances.

It looks pretty bland and dull from my perspective.

All I can see is a black BG with some gloss and a C4D just with its transparency lowered.
That's all. I can't see anything outstanding.

Even heard of modernization? The glossy image was to do just that, make a modern VT concept banner. The C4D is to appeal to VT- reference the Forever Blue theme.
Analyze a little deeper.

But that's all it is. It's like most of the beginner's signatures: gloss, C4D (with no flow), text, border, done. It's got nothing special nor outstanding.

Yes I've heard of modernization, and the actual banner is so bad everyone thinks something different is way better. I don't get however the C4D thing, it's grey like everything else.

I admit I don't get the motto. Recover? That's a general discussion forum, not a therapy center for post-trauma cases.

I tend to agree with Flippy on this - I'm not sure I get what's great in it. I've seen much more inspired work from Origami.
