So some backstory - a little over a year ago someone tripped on a audio cable and bent the jack to hell, when i took it out i got shocked and in the next weeks i found out that did some damage to my soundcard. Basically if you didn't have headphones (something un-amplified) in the first jack it would make horrible noises come out of all the channels, and a few other smaller problems...but it still worked to some extent so i didn't replace it. A few days ago i started to get back into music a bit, and i was looking into ways to improve sound too, while testing things i noticed quite a bit of crackling on not-so-high volume. So after a bit of thinking i thought maybe it's about time i had a fully functional sound card, maybe this one took more damage then i figured.
Now i just finished installing my new one
And I AM BLOWN AWAY!!!:wow:i really didn't expect this big a difference but now at 30% vol it's louder then the old "crackle" level(about70%) and crystal clear:D i forgot music could sound this good on these headphones
