so as it turns out, im a huge UK Skins fan! i cant get enough of it! sadly though i live in the USA and the US version is just horrible(imo). what do you think?

I actually saw the US version and it was okay, but I'd rather see the UK version. I barely get to see though because either my mom or little sis is home so I gotta be careful cuz they have little freak outs with the shit they see on TV and my older sis thinks I shouldn't see it because it shows "disgusting" scenes in it. My sis doesn't know me well. :P

I loved the first and second generation series of skins but this new one is a bit..well.. fucked to say the least. I saw the American one, it didn't really do much for me honestly.

NOTHING can beat the first and second series. The third series was good as well. But from then on it started to rapidly spiral downwards.

I've never seen the American version. I loved the second generation skins sooooo much. It's better than the first generation although they where pretty awesome too. Only seen the first episode of third generation :( It looks so shit so far. It's turned into a bitch fight rather than what REALLY happens.
I miss Effy and Katie and Emily and Naomi and Freddie and Cook :'(

I never watched any skins until last week, which was the first episode of the new series, I missed last nights, gonna catch up on 4OD now.
I loved the first episode though. Franky is such a controversial character and reminds me of myself, love her <3

Fuck ye. American version is just a watered down beat the horse to death piss on the show. There's NO FUCKING NEED to make a US version. I mean, come the fuck on!

I just finished Season 4 and damn, I think Cook killed the fuck out of that guy in my opinion.

Going to start the first episode or how many are out tonight for the new season, also known as the Third Generation.

Cook is definitely my favorite character.

Is Effy in the third generation too? I mean, she seems to be the main role of the series imo.

i totally agree! the first generation was the best!! but i did enjoy the second generation a lot. Naomi and Emily are like, the perfect couple lol. and im sooo in love with Effy. i cant get enough of her character xD. i cant wait to see the 5th season but since i live in the US i'll have to wait until its on dvd :P

I've only seen the 1st and 2nd season of the UK version. I want to see up to the 4th but never have gotten round to it. But yeah, UK Skins is awesome.

New season is pretty good so far. Like most of the characters and can totally see Rich and Grace getting together by the end of the season.

Cassie, Anwar and Sid are by far my favourite Skins characters of all time! I don't feel as if any of the other Skins characters (from all generations) are as good as those three I mentioned, since I got so attached to the first generation. :(

my favorites are Cassie, Chris, and Sid. but for the second generation my favorites were by far Effy, Naomi, and Emily. i think i got more attached to the them even though the first was my favorite :)
