Shane warne, former Australian leg spin bowler.

Not due to the fact that he is arguably the greatest bowler the sport has ever seen, but due to the fact that he was a true character. Sport needs more Shane Warne, sure he made a few mistakes off the field but it never affected his ability to entertain the masses and produce some of the finest bowling the game of Cricket has ever seen.

He allowed un - interested Cricket followers like myself become interested, he is the reason i fell in love with cricket and the art of leg spin bowling. He was great to watch, he was incredibly tenacious and never gave up, always seemed to produce under immense pressure, and was so incredibly entertaining to watch, he gave the fans something, he was and is a true Aussie icon.
