Just stay calm and be yourself!
Whenever I talk to anyone (regardless of if they're flirting or not) I tend to get really nervous, and start saying weird random things xD

If someone tries to come up to you, get to know them more. You might make a friend out of the situation. But if you aren't interested in the person, and they are in your space, just politely brush them off. But don't be nervous, just talk to them, they probably just want to be your friend.
