Yesterday I had to go see my Phsycologist, then I had to go to the doctor.He subscribed me to this medicinde called Zoloft, and I hate taking it. How are your parents treating you exactly? As if its your fault? As if you asked for it? Or as if you are really fragile?

I recently went through the same and my parents treated me as if I would break at any given moment. That was irritating! lol. I know what you mean bout hating taking tablets, I am seriously considering flushing mine down the toilet! lol

I didnt know zoloft could treat manic depression. I take it for severe depression. Anyway, I understand.

i took zoloft for abit... didnt go well but thats the past...

Kind of an advertising post. In fact... maybe only an advertising post. First, psychiatrists give meds, not psychologists. Second, no psychiatrist in their right mind would give someone with bipolar Zoloft, Zoloft is for anxiety and depression, and can cause mania in people with bipolar or other psychoses.

But it may be given first off to get the person in question out of the depressive episode. BP is often treated with anti depressants to treat the depression and something else (forgotten the correct term) to treat the mania.
