I wore socks to school instead of tights
I have scars above my knee
A lot of scars

You know those scars
You saw them when they were new

You used to cut too
I expected you to understand
You of all people
My best friend
Youre meant to be my rock
Youre meant to help like i helped you

You looked at my knee
Looked me right in the eye
'attention seeking are we?'

Thats the last time i try to be confortable with who i am

I'm not comfortable enough with my scars to let them be seen properly but even when I wear tights you can see the recent cuts and I've had similar comments. You just have to try not to let it get to you. They know nothing, they're just a complete bitch. Please don't let this put you off showing your scars, they're a part of you, your friend should respect that.

As others have said to you, just ignore if you can, if it's who I think it is though I guess it might be a little hard for you, but try not to let her get to you.

it isnt your fault at all and youre very brave for wearing socks instead of hiding the scars with tights. :hug: your friend should understand your problem and be there for you instead of making rude sarcastic comments, especially since she used to cut. were here for you babe <3 :hug: things will get better!
