I don`t necessarily think it involves two people engaging in sexual behavior, but more of just as it says- Gay friendship. Weather it be two gays who are strictly friends, or just having a gay friend. There are alot of people who think that two gays, lesbians, etc, can`t only 'be friends.' Why? I have no idea. Thats like saying someone who is hetero, can`t have friends of the opposite sex. My best mate is a lesbian, and I also enjoy the same sex. We`re constantly asked if we are a couple, just because we`re both into the same sex. I think it really just has to do with people being ignorant.

This was me in a different thread in which you were asking about nervousness about approaching some guy because you couldn't be sure of his response. My comment meant for you to try and discuss what he thought about gay people and gay relationships to try and guage his feelings. If his responses are conducive then you can ask him directly. If he goes apeshit at the concept then you know to keep quiet and just agree with him. I seem to remenber that you said that homosexuality was illegal in your country and there was a chance of personal danger if this went badly for you.
Sorry, wrong quote. this was meant for the OP
