Yea if everything was good then it would all be the same so it wouldnt be any better so it would neither be good or bad. Like code said - Yin and Yang - Very important stuff. Im really into philosophy especially chinese. Take jobs. A rocket scientist (in most peoples opinions) is called a good job. Whearas a dustbin man (in most peoples opinions) is a bad job. If everybody were a rocket scientist it wouldnt be seen as good anymore because everybody did it and its all the same.

good is what makes you happy. being happy is an instinctual feeling, and you dont need to learn what "happy" feels like by witnessesing something bad

My opinion is, for there to be ups, there has to be downs. Because if it was only ups, then it would be average, and you would be used to it. You'd be on top of the world without knowing it.
