When I turn on my PSP, the little green "Power" light appears, but the screen remains blank. I also can't turn it off.

If you can't turn it off allow the PSP to run out of batteries, this same thing happened to my sister's DS. Then try to re- charge it again. Sorry i couldn't give you anymore advice.
Good Luck :)

Probably will be too, knowing Sony of course.
But that's a different thread.
As said above charging your PSP should probably fix your problem, if not you can call customer support. As helpful as they are.

Your PSP maaaaaaaaayyy be broken. Try leaving it alone for a while, after you've drained it off all it's juice, then charge it and see if it works.

no need for that - just remove the battery cover on the back, then pull out and reinsert the battery. juice draining is a waste of time.

Take the battery out, and then put it back in. Mine has done that too.
Hopefully that works.

PSP was also seen as very expensive too when it came out. In my opinion if Sony doesn't screw up in it's marketing department then it shouldn't be much more expensive than the 3DS, they practicly have no market share so in order to become popular they're going to need a good price.
